Lookout Popup Festival: Three little Pigs

As part of Lookout Popup Festival for families we are popping up at Markyate Parish Council Hall. An inventive retelling of the classic Three Little Pigs. Danny has been delivered a story telling kit in a crate. All the props for the story are inside the crate ... or are they? Danny has to try against the odds to act out the story, without making a pig?s ear of it! He will retell the curly tale with lots of huff, puff and you?ll be blown away by his unique physical comedy, amazing circus skills and sheer pig-headedness.Set to music, this quirky and wonderfully visual version of the fairy tale will delight and entertain all the family. As part of Lookout Popup Festival for families we are popping up at Highfield Community Centre with Rumplestiltskin. Poor Polly Buckwheat is in a bit of a muddle! Her dad has told the king that she can spin straw and turn it into gold! Rumplestiltskin magically appears in her castle cell. Will poor Polly save herself? The Popup Theatre Tent is an unforgetable family fun day for all ages including the Tea Time Show, theatrical games, poetry, workshops and craft activities, as well as audio plays via headphones for older children and grown ups. We are popping up across the borough bringing the magic and excitement of our regular Saturday children shows and family films to your doorstep. We are coming to Apsley, Adeyfield, Berkhamsted, Highfield and Markyate.

Robot drawing competition

Well done Maddy from Adeyfield. Her special Theatre Robot was made to help us sell seats at the theatre!

Maddy wins two tickets to Dotty The Dragon Theatre Show at Adeyfield Community Centre on Saturday 29 June.

Muppet Treasure Island Film (U)

Join us in a swashbuckling adventure as The Old Town Hall pops up at Frogmore Paper Mill. Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale is given the Muppet treatment in this hilarious children's musical film full of good-natured fun, Muppet sense of humour and crazy musical numbers. The event is part of The Dashfest Water Festival family funday.
